The Wolverines:

  • Promotes accessibility, participation and fun. Our focus is on integrated programs that are enjoyable and meaningful to participants.
  • Are run by a volunteer Board of Directors. In 1998, the Wolverines employed a Program Director to increase community awareness and to develop new programs.
  • Have a loan process in place with a variety of equipment for you to use. Call us to see if we can meet your needs.
  • Want to hear from you! We are receptive to your ideas and opinions for our future programs.

We are a proud member of the Chamber of Commerce (Grande Prairie & District)

With great fundraising efforts we are able to offer free registrations to those on AISH, we ask that these members give back to the wolverines by volunteering for our association through the year.

Would YOU Like to LEARN HOW to Ski or Snowboard for FREE?

Canadian Adaptive Snowsports (CADS) Alberta is partnering with CADS zones and Alberta ski resorts to offer the one day Slide & Ride try-it events across Alberta.

These events are FREE for all participants and volunteers! Participants and volunteers will receive prizes for being part of our events, and the focus is on families, friends and everyone to come out and participate.

Our goal is to encourage people with disabilities to try adaptive skiing or snowboarding as participants, and to create opportunities for involvement as participants or volunteers – anyone interested in being part of a fantastic winter sport!
